This is an area in Venice dedicated to Jewes.

It was allowed to leave this quarter but they needed to wear badges and caps in order to be identified.

Nowadays only 33 Jews live in the Ghetto.  Here there are many kosher food shops, a Jewish library and a baker and two synagogues where religious ceremonies still take place.

In the Ghetto you find the Jewish Museum

Your guide will bring you to Fondamente Misericordia, passing in front of Tintoretto’s house and reaching Campiello Abbazzia.

This is a small square, in which you will find the Scuola Vecchia della Misericordia and a deconsecrated church. Your final stop in Gesuiti Church.
